"My art is about telling stories.  They are commentaries, documentaries and sometimes autobiographies.  The viewer’s experiences often invoke totally different stories as they engage the pieces.   My work is aimed at the audience engagement rather than them experiencing passively. My stories can be quite dark but who wants morbid depressing reminders.  I attack even the bleakest subjects with humour and liveliness.  Often the viewer is engaged through my interactive kinetic pieces that cross the genre divide.

I love making intaglio prints, but I wouldn’t want to miss out on pushing paint around, building with wood, moulding clay or using Photoshop to create digital prints.  Each media is different but feed each other and help develop diverse skills across the mediums."
